Heading Back Away from the Wild Ragged Islands

Days 93 & 94 Sailing Back North Via Rocky Point

On Thursday, March 5th, we napped in the morning after our NIGHT FROM HELL at Coakley Cay and headed back north in the afternoon. It was an easy three hour sail with good winds all the way to Rocky Point. We found a good anchor spot in the lee of one of the rocky points and went to bed early! I crashed before sunset and John played a little chess with the computer before turning in. A GREAT NIGHT’S SLEEP was had by all!

We spent Friday, March 6th lounging around in the cockpit reading and relaxing. This is a picture of our sunshade that has been custom crafted to deal with the glare of sunsets without inhibiting the evening breeze. We’re happy cruisers looking forward to revisiting Little Farmers Cay tomorrow.
