Thanks to Finley's camera, you will get so see some videos of our adventures this week. We have decided to sail around in the Abacos revisiting many of the places we've been previously. So, some of this will look familiar to you.
Here's a video of Finley steering the ship. We weren't exactly skilled in operating the camera--hope we don't make you sea sick!
We sailed across the Sea of Abaco from Marsh Harbour to Great Guana Cay where we had spent Easter Sunday (Day 131). We anchored in Fishers Bay and Finley jumped overboard to swim some laps. He is training for a triatholon that will take place a couple weeks after he gets home.
Then we dinghied to the lovely Grabbers Beach where we relaxed, played, phoned home with Skype, and worked on the blog.
We had Grabbers almost to ourselves this Tuesday morning--ahhhh so nice! But the ocean reefs on the other side of Great Guana Cay were calling. With snorkel gear packed in sacks, we hiked across the island to Nippers and the Atlantic Ocean side. Nippers was fairly empty and the ocean had a bit of a surge to it. John and Finley decided to snorkel anyway. Penny sat this one out--sunning on the beach. This video gives you the feel of the surge. Near the end of the video you can see a bluehead wrasse and brain coral.
