When you are trying to pack as much of the Bahamas as possible into one week, you can't linger too long in the uninhabited cays. No--you have to press on to Pizza and Party night at the Tipsy Seagull, Treasure Cay!
Before we left Fish Cays, Finley swam his laps. Here's a picture of him climbing down the swim ladder.
Here are our captains--pressing on. Do ya think they can smell the pizza already?
In preparation for PIZZA NIGHT, we munched some burgers, quaffed some beers & rum punches, and hung out on Treasure Island's Coco Beach. Here are some boating buddies of ours--also enjoying Coco Beach. This is Ron (not the Capt. Ron from the movie) and Sonja who live aboard their Erwin 43 named Conch Clipper.
As we dinghied back to Caribbean Soul, we caught this picture of one of the sport fisher boats all lit up. The dock area was full of these colorful boats--made it look like Christmas!
As the sun was setting, the big sport fishing boats returned to the Treasure Cay docks--single file. It was an interesting sight--seeing those big motor boats line up and scoot by all the sailboats anchored in the harbor.
Now this is the big event--PIZZA NIGHT! With the sport fishing tournament going on in the area lots of people came out for the Thursday Night party. It was a good mix of sailboat cruisers and sport fishermen. As you can see, we had a great time. Finley, John and I taught those folks some new steps!
