Still in St. Augustine, FL

A cold front has squatted on St. Augustine so we're just sitting tight until warmer weather with less wind and waves comes around. It's Friday, December 2 and we've been here for almost a week. Hopefully, the weather will look good on Monday and we will head out for the Keys and other parts of Southern Florida.

Hanging out is St. Augustine is a pleasure. There are lots of great places to eat. Here is John on the outside porch of A1A Micro Brewery and Penny on the patio of Harry's.

And this is a great place to work on the boat (something we are always doing!). There's a great bargain sail goods shop --The Sailors' Exchange--within walking distance. It's full of treasures.

And, there's plenty of time for hanging out in the boat, reading, knitting, listening to the radio, etc. John's up in the vee berth reading.

This is my little corner of the salon. It's mighty cosy. The funny rubbery thing up near the port is John's Bahamian sling for stabbing lobsters. We are definitely hoping to give it a good work out in the Bahamas. For now, it's good to hang wet towels on for drying.
